Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026
1.Who we are
Altahady ("we", "us") is the trading name of Daring Technology Solutions (التحدى للحلول التكنولوجية), a single-person limited liability company registered in Alexandria, Egypt. We operate the website altahady-aion.com and provide custom software, Odoo ERP, and AI integration services — including our products SyncBridge, Maydan HR, and Khatm.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
2.Scope
This policy applies when you:
- visit altahady-aion.com
- message us on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or our website chat
- email us or submit a form
- use our products as a customer or an authorised user
Where we handle data on behalf of a business customer — for example employee records inside Maydan HR — that customer is the data controller and their own privacy policy governs. We act as a processor under our contract with them.
3.What we collect
When you message us
- your name or messaging profile name, and your phone number or account ID
- the content of your messages, including files or images you send
- timestamps, delivery and read status, and similar metadata
From our website
- pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type
- anything you enter into a contact or project-estimate form
When you become a customer
- business contact details, billing information, and records of our correspondence
We do not ask for special category data — health, religion, political views, or biometrics. Please do not send such information to us over chat.
4.Why we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiries and providing support | Contract / legitimate interest |
| Delivering and maintaining our products | Contract |
| Improving our services and response quality | Legitimate interest |
| Security, fraud prevention, and abuse monitoring | Legitimate interest / legal obligation |
| Marketing communications | Consent — withdrawable at any time |
| Meeting accounting and legal obligations | Legal obligation |
5.Automated processing and AI
We use automated systems, including AI language models, to help draft and suggest replies to messages you send us. This means the content of your message may be processed automatically in order to generate a response.
Our AI provider processes message content solely to generate a response for us. It does not retain your data or use it to train its models.
A human reviews and remains responsible for our support. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone. You can ask to speak to a person at any point simply by replying to the conversation.
6.Where your data is stored
Our support system is self-hosted on infrastructure we control, located in Nuremberg, Germany (European Union). Data may therefore be transferred from Egypt to the EU and processed there.
Where transfers occur between jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses with our providers.
7.Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who process it on our instructions:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | WhatsApp and Messenger message delivery |
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Hosting our support platform (Germany) |
| Amazon Web Services | Hosting our website (EU region) |
| Amazon Web Services — Bedrock (Amazon Nova Lite) | Generating suggested replies |
| Zoho Corporation | Business email |
Messages you send over WhatsApp or Messenger also pass through Meta's systems and are subject to Meta's own privacy policy, which we do not control.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
8.How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Support conversations | 24 months from last contact |
| Customer records | Duration of the contract, plus 7 years for tax and accounting |
| Website analytics | 14 months |
| Marketing lists | Until you unsubscribe |
We delete or anonymise data once these periods lapse.
9.Your rights
Under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you may request:
- access to the data we hold about you
- correction of anything inaccurate
- erasure of your data
- restriction of, or objection to, our processing
- portability — a machine-readable copy
- withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing already carried out lawfully
Write to privacy@altahady-aion.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority — in Egypt, the Data Protection Centre.
10.Security
We protect data in transit with TLS, restrict administrative access to named individuals, keep systems patched, and take regular encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authority of any breach affecting your data as required by law.
11.Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and, with your consent, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to the site.
12.Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised date and, where appropriate, we will notify you directly.
