Do we have to replace or modify our POS?
No. That's Khatm's reason for existing. We connect to your current point-of-sale — starting with Odoo POS, with more integrations rolling out — and handle everything the ETA requires behind the scenes. Your floor staff won't notice a thing.
What happens when the internet goes down mid-shift?
You keep selling. Receipts are sealed locally on the device, kept in strict order, and submitted automatically when the connection returns. The chain stays intact, the ETA stays satisfied, and your queue keeps moving.
Is this the official ETA integration?
Khatm is built on the Egyptian Tax Authority's official integration toolkit — the signing and validation components the ETA publishes for vendors. We add the reliability layer around it: offline handling, chain integrity, device management, and monitoring.
What does "founding retailer" actually mean?

We have a custom-built POS. Are we out of luck?
Not at all — a clean integration interface for custom POS systems is part of the design. Talk to us about your setup; if your POS can send us a receipt, we can seal it.
